The following outcomes have resulted from the operation of the Resource Business: |

 Over 600 people have completed the Opportunity Search Programme to-date and of the participants who have completed the programme since April 2000, approximatly three-quarters have successfully obtained jobs internally within eircom.

|
|
Participants on the Opportunity Search Programme have found it beneficial in terms of developing new career options and in making them more assertive and confident.
|
|
|
The implementation of the Micro-Enterprise Pathway has assisted in the successful development of over 350 small and medium sized enterprises. |
|
|
Over 800 employees have been supported by the External Employment Pathway. |
|
|
The Resource Business has provided a range of valuable supports and services to eircom employees. It has facilitated them to take stock of their career, to develop viable options and to make informed decisions. |
